Terms of Service

Last updated: October 7, 2026

These terms govern Crisis Planner, a digital household preparedness product operated by Darren Thompson in Alberta, Canada. By purchasing or using it, you agree to these terms. Contact support@crisisplanner.net with questions.

The product

Crisis Planner organizes household information, supplies and emergency scenarios and uses AI to help create personalized plans and printable binders. It is a planning aid, not an emergency-response service. Digital access and printable documents are provided; no physical goods are shipped.

Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 and have authority to enter the household information you provide. Keep your credentials private, use accurate information and obtain permission before entering someone else's personal or medical information. Tell us if your account may have been compromised.

Personal-use licence

Your purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your household. You may print and share your own planning documents with household members and caregivers. You may not resell the software, share login credentials commercially, redistribute the app or use it to provide a competing commercial service. Your household information remains yours.

Not professional advice

Plans and scores are educational and organizational tools, not medical, veterinary, legal, financial or professional emergency-management advice. In an immediate emergency call the local emergency number and follow official orders. Verify routes, contacts, supply targets and local regulations before use. Confirm medication doses, reserve quantities and refrigeration requirements with a pharmacist or prescriber, and pet care with a veterinarian. Do not change treatment because of AI output. Readiness scores do not guarantee safety or predict what will happen.

AI and availability

AI may omit details, make mistakes or generate outdated information. Review and correct your plan before relying on it. You are responsible for practicing it and updating it after household changes. The app depends on internet access and third-party services and may be unavailable during a disruption. Keep a printed or downloaded copy before an emergency; continuous availability is not guaranteed.

Price, payment and refunds

The advertised one-time price remains $59.95 for lifetime access. ClickBank processes the purchase and displays the applicable currency, taxes and final order amount at checkout. “Lifetime access” refers to the operating life of the product, not a promise that online services can operate forever. Refund requests are handled under ClickBank's 60-day policy, described in our Refund Policy. These terms do not reduce mandatory consumer rights.

Acceptable use

Do not use the product unlawfully, upload malicious material, access another customer's records, attempt to defeat access controls, interfere with the service or distribute content you do not have permission to use. Do not store unnecessary secrets or payment-card information. We may restrict access for serious misuse, security risks or a refunded purchase, subject to applicable law.

Privacy and deletion

Our Privacy Policy explains saved planning data, AI processing and your rights under applicable PIPEDA and Alberta PIPA requirements. Request account and associated data deletion by emailing support@crisisplanner.net from your registered address. Deleting an account is not automatically a refund request; request a refund separately within the applicable window.

Ownership

The software, branding and original product materials belong to Darren Thompson or their licensors. Official agency materials and third-party content retain their own rights and licences. You may use documents based on your household data for your personal preparedness; no exclusive ownership of AI-generated language is promised.

Disclaimers and limits

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee that every plan is complete, accurate or suitable for your situation. We are not responsible for indirect losses caused by reliance on unverified output or service interruptions. Where lawful, our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product. These limits do not exclude liability or rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.

Governing law and changes

Alberta law and applicable Canadian federal law govern these terms, without displacing mandatory protections where you live. We will post changes with an updated date and provide notice where required. Material changes do not retroactively remove your refund rights. Contact Darren Thompson at support@crisisplanner.net to discuss a concern before pursuing a dispute.
